Search Strata    Help
This is an online community for BC strata corporations, condominium associations, and other parties interested in providing services to strata corporations.

Here are some advantages of participating in this community:
1. Increase Internet visibility for your strata website
strata-bc.ca provides a portal where strata associations’ websites can be found easily by searching on known attributes like complex name or address, or by browsing by city.
Moreover, strata-bc.ca has the technical expertise and spend the effort to ensure it shows among the first results from the main search engines. When people look on the web for a specific strata association, just by entering words like “strata” and “BC” or the city name, they will be directed to our website, where searching for a specific strata is much simplified.
Most often strata associations don’t have the technical knowledge and the time required to promote their websites to search engines. Unless someone knows very specific details about the site, such as its web address (http://www.mystratasite.ca), it would be difficult to find it using search engines like Google, Yahoo, or Bing.
2. Post announcements to reach the strata associations’ community and other interested parties (suppliers, property management companies, realtors, etc.)
strata-bc.ca serves as a communication hub for all interested. Strata representatives can publish announcements to the community such as:
- Requests for bids and RFI’s
An increasing number of suppliers visit this site and search for potential clients. By posting their requests here, with a link to the details presented in their own strata website, strata associations increase the chances of finding the best offer within the shortest time.
- Events you would like the community to find about
For example strata council achievements, complex-wide garage sale, ADD MORE
3. Communicate with other strata representatives using the Forum (this section is open for viewing to everyone, however, posting is only permitted to registered users designated by participating strata associations)
Ask questions regarding strata issues and find out from others how they found solutions
Ask for and post references about suppliers and the quality of services
By participating frequently in Forum discussions, strata representatives could forge relationships with peers, learn from others experience, help colleagues solve problems and avoid mistakes, create a spirit of collaboration and support within a community facing similar challenges and sharing similar goals.
